Top Ten Tuesday #10 : 2017 Debuts I'm Excited For

Top ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created and hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Follow the link to know more about the meme and join up!
The topic for this Tuesday is "2017 debuts you're excited for" aka "The 2017 debuts that are maing me dance around in circles, giddy with excitement". Because 2017 is going to be a FREAKING AWESOME bookish year! There are so many awesome titles I'm looking forward to.. 






1. CARAVAL by Stephanie Garber - Why? Deadly games- actually deadly magical games, mysterious sailors and also DID YOU SEE THE PRETTY COVER??

2. WINTERSONG by S. Jae Jones - Why? GOBLINS.  What you're waiting for me to go on? GOBLINS are enough reason.

3. THE COLOR PROJECT by Sierra Abrams - Why? The blurb is the sweetest thing ever and Sierra Abrams is an awesome awesome person. The book HAS TO BE FREAKING AWESOME.

4. DAUGHTER OF THE PIRATE KING by Tricia Levenseller - Why? The protagonist is a 17- year old Pirate girl aka my spirit animal.

5. EMPRESS OF A THOUSAND SKIES by Rhoda Belleza - Why? Diverse characters. Badass Girls and a story set in space. Oh, I'm there.

6. THE HATE U GIVE by Angie Thomas - Why? The story is inspired by the Black Lives Matter Movement. THIS IS A MUST READ.

7. GILDED CAGE by Vic James - Why? Alternate version of Britain. Revolutionary lads. BABY HERE I COME!
8. FROSTBLOOD by Elly Blake - Why? I know this book has been getting so many mixed reviews but the blurb has intrigued me so much!

9. BLOOD ROSE REBELLION by Rosalyn Eves - Why? THE COVER IS BLOODY BEAUTIFUL! Also the story seems awesome.

10. WHEN DIMPLE MET RISHI by Sandhya Menon - Why? INDIAN CHARACTERS! Enough said.

    Caraval made my list too (and lots of our fellow book bloggers!). I so agree about the pretty cover - sometimes that's reason enough. :)

    I forgot about 'Pirate King,' but it looks really interesting too - plus being a fan of Disney's Pirate movies means I'd be curious to discover more about the book. :)

    Caraval and Empress sound fabulous, but I love ALL the covers lol. I think this is going to be an amazing year for both books and covers, like 2016 was. So much good stuff. Wintersong and goblins- lol. :)

    Blood Rose rebellion has a phenomenal cover.

      EVERONE is excited for Caraval :)I think so too!! All the covers are soooo splendid <3 YES! Blood Rose Rebellion is a book I'm excited ofr so much that I'm counting the days until it's released! :P

    I love your picks! SERIOUSLY PIRATES ARE THE REASON I EXIST. Have a serious obsession here. We need more of pirate books. Wintersong's cover is gorgeous and I can't wait to pick it up ;)

    So many amazing books! I can confirm that Caraval, Empress of a Thousand Skies, Daughter of the Pirate King, Wintersong, Blood Rose Rebellion, and Frostblood are all wonderful--I loved them! I hope you enjoy them as well ^_^

    We've got pretty similar list this week, I am SO excited for Empress of a Thousand Skies, it looks amazing! When Dimple Met Rishi looks great, will definitely have to check that one out this year! I hope you get to read all of these and LOVE them all!
