Top Ten Tuesday #8: Ten Books I wouldn't Mind Santa Leaving Under My Tree

Top ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created and hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Follow the link to know more about the meme and join up!
The topic for this Tuesday is Ten Books I wouldn't mind Santa leaving under my Tree. I'm super excited for this post 'cause who doesn't like books for gifts?? And God knows my TBR on Goodreads is freaking huge. BUT since I'm kind of busy now, I'll simply be listing out the books and not elaborating on my choices.

1. Scythe by Neal Shusterman

2. The Diabolic by S.J.Kincaid

3. The Forbidden Wish by Jessica Khoury

4. Labyrinth Lost by Zoraida Cordova

5. A Shadow Bright and Burning by Jessica Cluess

6. Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff

7. Timekeeper by Tara Sim

8. Bright Smoke, Cold Fire by Rosamund Hodge

9. Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco

10. Origin by Jessica Khoury

So have you read these books? If so, what do you think of them? What's on your Top Ten Tuesday? Comment and leave a link below so I can return the favour!

  1. The Diabolic is one I've only recently seen everywhere. Or it seems to be. Someone even said it's been compared to The Hunger Games. Hope you get these, Uma - and as always, thanks bunches for visiting Finding Wonderland. :)

  3. Origin was one I was going to read, I never got to it but I loved Vitro by the same author, and her Kalahari was pretty good too. Illuminae's a trip

    1. I thought those three were a part of a series? You can read them as standalones? That's great to hear :) I'm reaaaallly excited about Illuminae :)

    2. You can definitely read them as standalones, the only thing that really connects them is the mysterious corporation in the background that runs all these research facilities. But they are completely standalone. I really liked Vitro.

  8. Tbh, this is a fantastic list. I wouldn't mind finding any of these under my tree either (except for Stalking Jack the Ripper because I recently bought that one). I've seen Illuminae on a ton of lists this week, and while it wasn't on mine, it probably should have been. I hope Santa leaves you some of these :)

  10. I'd take those books as well. My other half read Illuminae the other month and wasn't impressed. But that was because it's YA. So, I wouldn't take that opinion on board! Haven't read any on that list quite yet. I'm busy making my 2017 list. If it continues to grow, I'll have to add more days to the year.
